Much can be gained by integrating discoveries of contemporary science with the richness of the teachings of wisdom traditions such as Sufism. This webinar will incorporate practices for working with consciousness and subtle energy to help awaken and navigate in the deeper reality in which we exist.
Here is a flyer for the webinar:
We can never get outside of the totality in which we exist and we can never deeply understand reality by a dualistic perception. We know of the Universe in which we are interconnected with everything else by our relationship with whatever we are experiencing. Ibn Arabi, a Sufi mystic who lived hundreds of years ago, said that each soul has access to a unique aspect of the divine wisdom which can never be known by anyone else. Broadband spirituality for the 21st century needs to honor the uniqueness of each person and enable tools for allowing deeper and deeper discovery and fulfillment for manifesting something that could never be known or expressed by anyone else. There are tools for working with consciousness available from many different spiritual traditions that do not require any particular belief system to work with them.
Each of us can contribute to bringing more life and expanded possibilities to the world we live in by learning to awaken to our potentialities. We then become more fully able to consciously participate in the ongoing evolution of the one interconnected reality that we are each part of. Spirituality is then evolutionary. It is not only about restoration or redemption, but about transformation and unfoldment. Rather than passively experiencing the sacred, we discover what our unique way of being contributes. The purpose is not to merge with the transcendent or to erase our personal identity so that only what we consider the divine is there. The whole purpose emerges from the never ending relationship between our humanness and our connections to all the ways in which the one being is expressed on every level of existence.
